Unlike The Price is Right contestants, we actually paid for our car :(
But after saving our bucks for almost a year now, it was time to finally get Dana a dependable car. We test drove quite a few and finally decided on a Hyundai Elantra. One of the biggest reasons why is because it's classified as a compact and gets 40+ miles/gallon on the highway, but it's actually roomy inside unlike many others that we test drove. Aaron decided that he could actually take a road trip in this one and not feel claustrophobic.
I'll be the one to drive it primarily, but Aaron will be driving anytime we're together and on our long road trips to Sourthern Idaho. The more we drive it, the more we love it! We've been impressed with the simplicity of the design and the comfort of the car.
Of course we had to have a Sparkling Cider toast the night of the purchase!
This is "Laney." Obviously we couldn't name anything without a reference to Seinfeld, so Laney seems to fit!
Yep, that's about how we feel inside!
