Hooray for Thanksgiving! Even though Aaron and I couldn't make it down to Southern Idaho to be with our families for the holiday, we had a good time on our own. I attempted to make us a Thanksgiving feast, (thank goodness Aaron doesn't like turkey!) I think the only casualties were the rolls which I didn't give enough time to rise so they ended up like little rocks! Luckily everything else turned out alright since we'll be eating nothing but leftovers for the foreseeable future!
We got up early the morning after Thanksgiving and went up in the hills to find us a christmas tree! Our good little pathfinder took care of us on a steep, windy, snowy road and we were very grateful we didn't get stuck on our journey.
Aaron took some good scenery shots as I drove us back down the hill. This is near the bottom, we thought we may have gotten stuck if we had stopped to take pictures in the snowier parts. I loved how lush and green the forest was!
Cutting down our tree :) As you can see in the background, most of the trees were very sparse so it took some hunting to find a fuller one.
Packing the tree out!
Well the tree looks pretty small in comparison to the pathfinder, but it's the perfect size for our little apartment. I'll post more pictures once we get it decorated!
