Nativity

Our stake put on a pretty amazing Nativity activity at our church.  They asked for members to bring nativities they have in their homes, especially if they have one from a foreign country.  They set all of them up in the cultural hall and there were over 100 to see from lots of countries.  There were some like Josh brought home from his mission in Germany that turns the wheel with the candles, there were Native American nativities where Mary had two long braids, and even a nativities from Afghanistan!

It was a great activity -- I was impressed with how big the event was, the parking lot was pretty packed when we went and the event lasts all week.  In "the Stable Room," families got to dress up as part of the Nativity story.  This was fun to see big families with little kids dressed up as angels, sheep, donkeys, and wise men.  Aaron and I were told we were the smallest group they did all night.  It was a fun activity.
