As the new girl at work, I got initiated into the birthday club on Thursday. This means wearing this crazy hat and eating lots of cake :) I'm really enjoying my new job and all the great people there. After work, Aaron took me out to Red Lobster where I tried lobster tail and crab legs for the first time.
Thanks to all of you who sent gifts or called, I appreciated all of your sweet thoughts! For the record, the award goes to Josh Baird for the first birthday phonecall, followed closely by a text from Sage and Sam. Honorable mention goes to Jorja for an early birthday gift and phone call!
On Saturday, after finding out from Hannah Jo that it was Chineese New Year, we enjoyed a feast at Panda Express. We found out that I was born in the year of the dragon, and Aaron was born in the year of the ox.... which to me, made perfect sense. Here's a fortune cookie for the rest of you who missed out on the celebration:
