Our weekend in pictures:

 

1st stop on our weekend trip to Boise was in McCall to check out all the ice and snow sculptures from the Winter Festival.  This is Aaron with Buzz Lightyear.

2nd Stop:  The Idaho State Capitol in Boise.  Ahhh, the Senate.

  

House Page Drew gave us the official tour.  This was in the senate in the seat I usually sat in while I was a page.

  

This was from the Speaker of the House's desk in the House of the Representatives.

 

 

Aaron caught us telling some stories of the good times at the capitol.

 

 

3rd Stop: Hockey!

It was fun to see both Sage and Drew and enjoy watching some hockey together.  If I remember correctly, I think Drew was blowing kisses at the hockey players...

All the Bairdos were in town for Kayde's big birthday bash at the hockey rink!

  

4th Stop:  Angie & Mike's!  It was great to see our good friends again, they were great to let us crash at their house.  The next morning we went to breakfast downtown here, at Goldy's.   They usually have a long wait to get in, but the food was sure worth the wait!

   

5th Stop:  The Boise Depot!

  

Aaron had to get a picture with the train for his Grandpas, who were both railroad workers.

 

And this was my view for the majority of the weekend- the inside of a car!  Even though it's a long drive, we thought it was worth it for such a fun trip.
