Visitors!

This past weekend my mom and dad finally made the trip up to Lewiston!  Unfortunately I wasn't very diligent about taking pictures while they were here, so I'm left with only a few.  They got here Thursday night and stayed until Sunday afternoon.  Friday night we had dinner at Rooster's, right on the river in Lewiston.

My dad was fascinated by the passing boats, (that's what he's pointing at).  I think the waitress had to come back multiple times because he hadn't looked at his menu yet when we were ready to order!

On Saturday while the boys played golf, my mom and I went and checked out the garage sales and Farmer's Market in Moscow.  We found some good treasures at the garage sales - like a whole bag full of fabric, lace, and other crafting supplies that I scored for a buck -- That's right, $1.00!
The farmer's market was larger than I remembered, and we were surprised by all the fun things there were selling.  Did you know that you can make jewelry out of old spoons? There was some serious creativity going on.  I'm currently sewing away to have enough items to sell with my friend, Tanya, who has a booth there selling all kinds of fun home-made toys and decorations.  I'll get pictures posted soon of the items we'll be selling.

So it was a fun weekend having my parents here, but a very long drive for them!
