We actually had 4 teams, but I'm not posting every picture to save myself some time and sanity! After the Bishop had given them the rules of the game, (which included penalties for having a negative attitude!), they opened their 1st clue, they were off!
Luckily, their 1st destination was also where we ate breakfast: Krispy Kremes! (We had a 7:00 temple session, so most of us hadn't eaten breakfast beforehand.
So each team member had to eat their doughnut using only CHOPSTICKS! No hands allowed!
Once the task was completed, they received another clue and were off to the next destination. Other stops included making a felt baby blanket for a children's hospital, writing letters to missionaries, and tracking down the Bishop in the middle of the biggest park in Spokane! I wish I had more photos, but since Aaron and I stayed at one location to hand out the next clue, I don't have pictures of every step.
Backtracking a little bit, Aaron and I stayed up in CDA the night before the temple trip so that we wouldn't have to make the 4:45AM departure time with all the kids. So we stayed with the KIDDS! Jared Kidd was one of Aaron's misison companions, and he and his awesome wife, Amy, let us stay with them that night. But before we headed to their house we headed down to the lake where we watched part of a high school baseball game, and walked along the floating boardwalk.
We tried to get the temple in behind us, but they aren't kidding when they say its a smaller temple!
