So I know I've been MIA for the last few weeks. Unfortunately this blog has been put on the back burner because I've been so busy with some other projects! So here's what we've been up to:
Camping on the reservoir near Troy. We camped, but we didn't sleep much -- we heard owls, geese, and other birds making noise all night long, probably because of the full moon. That sure was a long night!
After camping we checked out this church near Aaron's current project in Kendrick. It has gravesites dating back to the 1890's and it was interesting to read their gravestones. This one was for a man named Thor Nelson - maybe I'm related to Thor?!?
We also picked some blackberries that were so delicious! It was hazardous picking in the heat and with all the thorns, but they were worth it. We got to enjoy homemade blackberry ice cream and have blackberry syrup on our waffles Saturday morning, yummy!
And on Thursday morning Aaron caught his 1st Stealhead since moving up here, so he's been pretty excited about his big catch. Thanks, Collin for taking him out!
So this is the reason I haven't been very diligent with my blog lately - I opened my own Etsy shop! You can check it out HERE. I've been making stacks of felt flower clip, pins, and headbands, as well as these felt bowties. These two boys were once in our Sunbeam class and my friend Kristina let me borrow them and their little sister to model all the stuff I've been making. What cuties!
And of course we had to stick around for the water fight that followed!
