On Friday night we headed up to Winchester to camp with Aimee & Collin Perschon, their two adorable kids, and Aimee's parents. We stayed up late hearing all of Collin's crazy moose and deer stories and then had fun fishing on Saturday.
Kaiser and Adalyn each caught a few fish with some help from their dad.
- Kaiser was checking out the lake looking for fish -
- Aimee and Adalyn were busy making friendship braceltes and rings -
It was fun to get away for the night and get some camping in -- We're glad the Perschons are back in town and ready to party!
Later that night, after much needed naps and showers, we went to Rockin on the River in Clarkston. It's a concert that supports local charities, and we were glad we could be there! The concert was set up on a grassy area that's actually a driving range right on the river front.
My boss at the Credit Bureau, Troy, is one of the organizers, so he scored us some free tickets and T-shirts!
The concert started at 5pm with 3 opening bands that played before the headliner, Scott Weiland, the lead singer from Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver. Our favorite band was actually one of the opening bands from Seattle, Windowpane. You can check them out here, or one of the videos I have posted all the way at the bottom of this page.
So it was a fun night to hear some good music in the valley!

We had a great time camping with you guys. Looks like you got some good pictures. And it looks like you both had a great time at the concert. see you soon.
