We started out the day at the EMP - Experience Music Project- Museum. We got to jam out and play with all their instruments. Aaron loved using all this top-of-the-line equipment in a sound studio. What was I thinking... now he's going to want a nicer guitar & bigger amp for Christmas. Our poor neighbors. We also go to perform "I Love Rock & Roll" on stage to a 'live' audience. They recorded us and we got to watch it afterwards, that was pretty fun!
After the EMP we headed over to the football stadium for the main event:
Patriots v. Seahawks
We enjoyed our seats in the end zone, we could see everything that was
going on. I could even see the players' numbers from the other end of
the field. We started out dry as they took the field...
But by the 3rd quarter it was coming down in buckets!
Here's the Patriots stretching before the game....
Here's the Pats kickin a field goal...
Here's the Pats playing some more football.....
And here we are after we lost 24 to 23 :(
As you can tell this was the highlight of the trip and we had to
document every play. Just be thankful I'm not putting up ALL of the
pictures we took!
DAY 3
Well, after the game our camera was dead, so we only have a few cell phone pictures of the rest of our trip.
At the Pacific Science Center there were huge water guns that you could
use to spin or move objects & learn about hydrolic engery. We also saw an IMAX movie about the mummies!
Our last stop was at the Woodland Park Zoo. Can you see the Hippo? It looks kinda like a big rock. There's
actually 2 of them, one is still under water. Every time it surfaced it
wiggled its ears, I loved it!
Can you spot the Bear? This was
the "Northern Trail" part of the zoo. I asked Aaron if he wanted to see
the elk. His response was, "No, I've got one in the freezer."
