Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Good Night

For our Christmas break this year we were lucky to be able to take about 10 days for our trip to Southern Idaho.  Our first stop was Boise where we stopped to see my best friend, Angie, and her new baby boy, Warren.  He's such a cutie, I loved his long fingers and his wrinkly forehead!

Then we were able to sneak in a temple session.  It was fun to see the new interior of the temple, we both really enjoyed it.

Then it was back on the road again, through a snow storm, to Kyndra's house we went!
It was fun to see little Brode-ster.  He couldn't get enough of his Uncle Aaron!

We thought this was pretty funny - Brody kept biting Aaron's nose!

Wyatt and Kaylee had fun putting out some treats for Santa & his reindeer.  Wyatt wrote a note to let Santa know that the apples were for Blitzen and Dasher, his favorite reindeer.

We had fun playing Santa's elves and getting everything all set out for the next morning.  We slept in the basement and could hear Wyatt and Kaylee running around looking at their presents.  It was really fun being able to see their excitement on Christmas morning.

This was my big project for Aaron:  a Patriots blanket that had their symbol on one side, and a football on the other.  I stayed up until 4am the night before we drove home to finish it, so I make sure he uses it a lot!

Over the next few days, we spent most of our time out in Inkom.  It was fun to get together with everybody for games and snowmobiling!  Mariah and I even got our nails done by Kyndra :)

Snowmobiling with Grandpa, Hannah Jo, Josh, Kayde, Dana & Aaron

Snowmobile Kisses!

We also went out and enjoyed a night at LA-VA hot springs with John & the kiddos.  Can you see us through all the steam?

We also spent a few days at my house in Gooding with my parents and with Drew, who just got her mission call to ALABAMA SPANISH SPEAKING!  Woot, we're all excited for you Drew!

Other big news, Aaron and I have 2 new nieces!  Megan Ryanna Baird (or Meg Ryan as we like to call her) was born on January 6th, the same day that Drew got her mission call.  She's Emmylou & Josh's 3rd little girl.

And just a few days later, my sister Ali & her husband Brett had their 1st little one, a girl weighing in at a whopping 9lbs7oz, Ryan Kate Sabado.  She has loads of dark hair like her dad, but I sure think those are Nelson cheeks!  We're excited to meet them both!
