CRAFT FAIRS

Late in the fall, I did 2 craft fairs, one in November and one in December.  I went out of my mind trying to prepare for the first one.  I was still working and it was becoming very difficult to get down on the ground and cut all my fabric out.  But here's some photos of a few of the items I sold at the craft fairs:

Gonzaga Basketball Blanket

Football Blanket
I made blankets with fabric for specific local teams: WSU Cougs, Seattle Seahawks, and U of I Vandals

WSU Baseball Blanket
I actually only did a baseball because someone saw my other sports blankets on my etsy site and specifically requested a baseball.  After I did one, I loved how it turned out and I've actually sold quite a few of them online.

They're very popular as baby blankets, I've started making them with a gray chevron fabric rather than a specific team, and those have done pretty well.  This is how I fold them up all cute for shipping, tied with a ribbon and with one of my cards.

I also tried something new this year and made "Santa Sacks."  They are sacks to put under the Christmas tree or around the house as decoration.  Lots of people bought one for each kid in their family to specifically put gifts from Santa in for Christmas morning.  These sold like crazy at the 1st craft fair I did, and it was fun to use them for ourselves for Christmas morning too :)

My sister, Ali, made some of these adorable bibs for her daughter, Ryan.  She recently made a bunch more to put up on my etsy site.  They're made out of terrycloth washcloths and have full sleeves with a tie in back.  She said she uses them all the time on Ryan to keep her cute outfits clean.  She liked that they covered everything, and not just under the chin area like most bibs.

And what a cute model!  I see so much of my sister in her, I love seeing photos of this sweetie!
