3 Months

Well, the girls have survived their first 3 months of life!  Every day I'm feeling more confidant as a mom.  I love that parenting has brought Aaron and myself closer and has strengthened our relationship.  We've learned to rely more on each other.  Even if we are doing something wrong, at least we agree about it!  If they're still alive, then what we're doing must be working, right?

Well, here's a highlight video of their first 3 months:  (follow the link to view it)

It amazes me how fast these girls grow and learn new things.  Just this week they've started sleeping all the way through the night (hooray!)  10:30 pm to 6 am makes me a happy mama! And Aaron's happy to be done with more middle of the night diaper changes - he's already gone before they wake up for the morning.  We're just praying that this isn't a phase, because we're realizing how much we have missed getting a full night's sleep!  The other big development this week is rolling over! They've each rolled over just once from their bellies onto their backs.  No repeats yet, but they are sure trying hard! We feel very blessed that we have such healthy and happy babies.

I'm excited that we found out that we can video chat on our phones through google hangouts - that has been so fun to chat with Grandma Shirley & show her how much the girls have grown!  It's also the only way so far that the girls have gotten to meet their Baird cousins.  If anyone else that wants to download the app, we're always game for some face time!

And speaking of cousins, we recently found out that we're getting another one :)  My sister, Ali, and her husband Brett, are expecting a baby!  Their daughter Ryan, who's the same age as Meg, will be a big sister in November and we're excited to find out the gender of the baby!  I think we're due for a trip to CA once he/she arrives!
