Saturday, October 19th, we had a fun get-together with the Nelson side of the family. Both my dad's parents, his two sisters, and their husbands all came to Gooding for a rare family reunion. Plus, all my sisters (other than casey) were also able to make it. It was fun to see everyone and catch up a little bit. And especially fun to let the twins meet all their relatives for the first time!

Since we were all together, we took advantage of the opportunity and also had a baby shower for Ali, who is due with baby # 2 in November. And it's a boy! So we had to celebrate!

After the baby shower, we set up a fun little photo backdrop so that we could get lots of family photos while everyone was there. The sign post was in reference to Ali's new baby boy, his name will be Boston Deem Sabado. We're so excited to meet him! We also took the opportunity to get 4-generation photos. It was so fun to see my Grampy hold and play with our twin girls :)

the rest of these photos were taken the following week when I was back in gooding to visit for a few more days before heading home. We went to see Granny on Sunday after church. Mom went in first and said, "Granny, I brought you a surprise. There's someone here to see you." Without missing a beat, Granny asked, "Is it a puppy?" Too funny!
