Over Father's Day weekend, I went to the opening night of the dinner theater in Glenns Ferry. My little sister, Drew, has the role of "villaness" in a melodrama called Somebody Stole My Baby Ruth! Above is a clip of an analogue she did, but the whole play was really very funny. The whole play takes place in a candy shop, and leaves you on the edge of your seat:
Will Penny Candy ever find love after her late husband, Reese was found in pieces at the bottom of the sea?
Will her aunt Praline keep her candy shoppe? And most importantly...
Who stole penny’s Baby Ruth?
Drew's character was named Ada Sourball, (and yes, to answer your question, SHE stole baby Ruth!) She and the villan kidnap the neice of the owner of the candy shop in attempts to get her to sell her shop to raise the ransom money. Five stars and two thumbs up for the whole show, but honestly Drew and her Villan co-star stole the show (and yes, I'm slightly biased.)
